OUR STORY

About Jayne Sarsfield

As a Perth-based artist, I work primarily in realism, using coloured pencil  to graphite to create detailed portraits that capture more than just a likeness—they hold a moment in time.

My focus is on revealing the subject’s personality through careful attention to light, colour, and detail.

I'm inspired by the everyday: the fleeting moments, familiar places, and the people we hold dear. Whether it’s a weathered building, a quiet corner of a city, or the face of someone you love, I aim to reflect the emotion and memory tied to that instant.

In our fast-paced world, my art is a way of slowing down—to honour what’s often overlooked, and to create a space for reflection. Each piece is a tribute to the beauty of ordinary life, and a reminder of how precious it is to feel, to remember, and to connect.

Whether you're drawn to portraits, architectural studies, or custom commissions, My art offers a unique and meaningful perspective. You can view my work and commission pieces through my online gallery at jaynesarsfield.com for more information contact below.
